On November 18th and 19th the UPU key regional project on e-commerce and export development was held in Moscow (Russian Fedration). This is the First regional forum on e-commerce and MSME business development. As a part of its ongoing commitment to product and services development and staff training, Kyrgyz Express Post representatives have attended this forum as well.

The Forum was organized by the RCC Executive Committee, UPU International Bureau, PostEurope in common with the CA of Russian Federation.

At the Forum participants discussed the issues of E-commerce and export development, global trends and opportunities for Posts today and tomorrow. as well as for the assistance in development of the E-commerce.

Representatives of the UPU IB presented the UPU e-commerce IT framework – tools to grow postal e-commerce integrated solutions for payments and logistics and using .post to secure e-commerce transactions, .post philately webshop pilots and .post website-in-a-box. Representative of the World Customs Organization explained how the customs authorities can support trade facilitation via post.

The Forum was highly appreciated by the participants.
